去年来日も果たしたフィリピンのオルタナティブロックのスター、Noa Malの7inch。
彼女は本物のロックスターだった。ステージ上で一瞬足りとも観客に笑顔で媚を売ることをせず、音楽性から想像させる人間一人の内面を掘り下げた表現を空間に再現させていた。これがオルタナティブロックだと思ったよ。みんながエンタメ化している現代、彼女の表現には本物の誠実さが宿っていました。
この7ンチは彼女の世界観が色濃く反映された代表曲2曲と、初フィジカル化された1曲を収録。Radioheadの"Creep"と同じ視点の構図から放たれる表現がある。封入物も良い感じっすね。

She was a genuine rock star. Not for a single moment on stage did she smile or pander to the audience; instead, she recreated in that space an expression that delved deep into the inner world of a single human being, as suggested by her musicality. This is what I thought alternative rock was. In this era where everyone's chasing entertainment value, her performance held genuine sincerity.
This 7-inch features two representative tracks deeply imbued with her worldview, plus one song getting its first physical release. There's an expression here that shares the same perspective as Radiohead's “Creep.” The inserts are pretty cool too.
