年を追う毎にサウンドプロダクションが向上していくのが世の常ですが、その世の流れと逆行するかのようにサウンドをチープにして突き進むシカゴ激情Lord Snowには正義がある。アルバムとしては2013年の『Solitude』以来6年ぶりとなる本作、どれだけ進化したか期待は膨らむのだがアルバム冒頭から聞こえてくる音はまるでラジオスピーカーを通して聞くようなRAW、というよりは解像度を下げたギターリフ。しかしながら激しくうねり、FASTに駆け抜けていくこのエモバイオレンスな楽曲と組み合わさると、そのチープなギターサウンドがドラムやベースの迫力に埋もれることなく前面に乗り出してくる。エモーショナルを際立たせるために、引き算の美学により彼らは彼らの中の新しい境地にたどり着いた。楽曲はわずか5曲、「マジでこれで終わり?」と思ってしまうくらい、一瞬で駆け抜けていく。それでも僕はそのレコードを買う。100枚プレスのDog Knights Exclusive盤です。

It's a world where sound production gets better with each passing year, but there's justice for the Chicago fierce Lord Snow, who pushes through with a cheesy sound that seems to go against the grain. It's been six years since "Solitude" was released in 2013, and I'm not sure how much the album has evolved, but from the beginning of the album, the sound is RAW, like listening through a radio speaker, or rather, a guitar riff with reduced resolution. However, when paired with this emo violent song that swells and runs into FAST, the cheesy guitar sound comes to the fore rather than being buried in the power of the drums and bass. To accentuate the emotion, the aesthetic of subtraction brought them to a new level in their midst. With only five songs, "Is this seriously the end of the line? It runs through in an instant. Still, I'll buy that record; it's a Dog Knights Exclusive pressing of 100 copies.
